High with the City Skyliner - now in Wernigerode!
The City Skyliner is currently the tallest and most modern mobile observation tower in the world. It reaches a height of 81 meters. The glazed, fully air-conditioned and barrier-free viewing cabin, which can accommodate a maximum of 60 people, is just under 72 meters high.
The tower is situated in Wernigerode on the parking Anger - Angerspitze and very well within walking distance. Admission costs 7 euros for adults, 1 euro less for students and 4 euros for children. It weighs 270 tons and will be present in Wernigerode from 07.05.2019 to 23.06.2019.
Travel times are daily from 10 am to 9.30 pm. Of these, one trip takes 9 minutes each.
(If it is a day with an event in the city or on Friday evening is still busy, can also be driven to 22 clock.)
From the glazed observation deck, a breathtaking 360 degree view of the city of Wernigerode and the Harz region is possible. This turns counterclockwise. In good weather you can see up to 30 kilometers away. The observation tower rises for the visitors four times an hour.
