Wernigerode's old town will be transformed into a magical wonderland for a month, from the end of November. Wooden booths lit up in a thousand sparkling lights, flow the mulled wine and punch, glaze fresh apples and bake the Donuts. The Christmas market was also awarded as one of the most beautiful in Central Germany. Because the historic city center with the half-timbered buildings solves a special and incredibly comfortable feeling among the visitors.
