The Wernigerode Castle Festival inspire each year with a different opera performance. The melodies of well-known works will be played from July 27th to August 23rd in the courtyard of the castle Wernigerode. These are interpreted by young artists and the Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra Wernigerode.
The opening concert "First Night", symphony concerts, opera performances, Wandelkonzerte, family concerts and the final concert "Last Night" form a round of musical events in the Wernigerode summer.
(In bad weather the concerts take place in the Princely Marstall Wernigerode)
